2005 Freestar Power Sliding Door & Liftgate Activation Problems?

I have a 2005 Freestar Limited with the power acuated sliding rear doors and liftgate. Both rear doors operate fine (open automatically) if you physically push the buttons on the interior pillars. They also work fine when you pull the handles from outside. Same deal with the liftgate; button on liftgate works fine as well as pulling on handle from rear. The problem is with the buttons in the overhead and the remote key fobs. Neither door nor the liftgate will operate from the overhead buttons or the remote key fobs. I looked for fuses but didn't find anything. I'm wondering if there is some kind of inhibitor module (the thing that keeps you from opening them when you're cruising full speed) that's acting up. Please help!
