AMX Wheel Stander

Did this for fun while trying a different toon style.

are you drawing the inside and the outside lines then filling?

It's all drawn in a vector program, so there's no "selecting and filling" like with PS.
All drawing (strokes & fills) is done using either the "Freehand" pen or "B-Spline" tools.

I do the line art on the top layer using differring types and sizes of "strokes," but no fills.
Then below that layer, I draw "solid" fill objects without bounding strokes.
Depending on the colors and detailing, there can be 10 to 20 layers of color fills stacked beneath the line work.
Also, if I need to adding white or color strokes, those stroke layers will be stacked just above or below the black strokes.

I'm sure it might be simpler to fill colors using a bitmap program like PS, but still haven't ever got comfortable using it--each year I dive into one of your, or Jeri C's,
tutorials to give it another try, but just never seems as easy as staying with Expression 3.

Blip, I totally get it. Ya know what ya know. U produce amazing renderings with the Expression 3 that suits u. Im a Ms Paint and Paintshop pro user from way back. Thats what im most comfortable using. 75% of my digital stuff prep and editing are those two. Cool AMX BTW.
