Bored at work

^that's exactly what I am right now. I drank a ton of coffee earlier, now I'm crashing. Anyone else in the same boat?

All day today that's all I did... minus the coffee. This year I'm cutting back on the coffee and Monster. Instead I had 4 green teas. I took off New Years Eve and was hoping for lots of work to catch up on today... fail. I surfed Tuners all day. Tomorrow will be nothing less.

Luckily I'm off tomorrow, I was close to just jamming something through my heart today just for a reason to go home. No but seriously, I'm glad it's over.

If you're online during business hours I'm on AIM and pretty much anything else.

There really a pain in the arse. I'd would much rather have the iphone but until verizon starts carrying them, I'm stuck with this one. 2 year contract too...uber sucky.

I love my blackberry. Except for the trackball sucks. I have the tour, it was one of the earlier models where the trackball doesn't like to go right and left.

I couldn't do a 9-9 shift unless it was something I really enjoyed and wasn't in an office all day. I'm supposed to be here about 8-5, but most of times roll in late and leave early. Gets painful here after awhile. Days just drag on and on.

It's usually pretty busy where I work so time goes by pretty fast. My work schedule is for a 50 hr work week, sometimes it's a couple hrs more than that. Tomorrow it's 9am-8pm, half-hour lunch and most of the time I don't leave work for even that.

I won't take a lunch and just leave early. So much better that way I think. I don't like taking lunches for the most part. Rather just eat all day while working and get it all over with.

Speaking of jobs....I have GOT to get a real job.

I'm trying to get on with BB&T. They start out with good pay, benefits right off the bat, and ability to advance. I want to work there for a few years atleast and get some money saved up. In Feb, I will be starting night time classes 2 days a week for auto-body and paint. After I have been with BB&T for a while, and have built me up a good nest-egg, I may persue a career in A.B/paint.....just depends.....and if I do get into that, after I do that for a good while and get tired of it, I want to become an insurance adjuster. There are always job openings for Adjusting positions, but you have to have experience in A.B/paint. And since I already have my insurance licenses, I am just lacking the A.B experience.

I'm sure none of you care, I have just been doing alot of thinking about my future lately, and needed to vent. Its very frustrating :(

Caleb, it's good to vent man. Get that shit out. Sounds like you have a plan and that's a good start. If I leave the place I'm working now, I have no idea what I'll do for a living. I have no college experience but a good head on my shoulders, but that will only get you so far. It's always good to have a plan but they can change, just stay focused on your goal and go for it.

Ya the first step to anything is a plan. You know what you want... more power to you for that. I'm looking for another job now adays as well, and really don't know where I want to go. I love the beer industry, but do I stay in here or move on to something else? I've been a graphic/web designer for a long time, but do I take my old sales experience and add them altogether and go into marketing/advertising? These questions been hitting me hard lately.

But if you have a goal and you know what you want and have a way to get there, go for it.

I feel ya. I worked from 10 to 5:30 today....felt like I wasnt ever going to get outta there. Gonna be there from 3 to 9 tomorrow, but we wont be busy so i will just shoot the breeze all day.

Also, I will taking my primer GST to school with me when I star in 3 weeks. So you guys should be seeing some progress on that thing shortly. I know longer want to use it as a drag car, I'm going to leave the engine stock and just cruise it.

I will be shaving everything (rear wiper, spoiler, antenna). And I just decided to shave the door handles. Want to paint it a nice color. Any suggestions? Also want to put some 19's or 20's on it. It shouldnt take long to do the work, so when I get done, I may take my buddy's LT1 camaro up there and do it up as well. Expect pics.

Guitar Hero has been cutting into my sleep time the last two weeks here... Blah on that... I'm finally getting into Expert mode... Maybe once I conquer Expert then I can put the guitar down once in a while...

When you guys are bored at work, find me a job. I'll move. I don't care anymore about staying in Chicago. I need to make more, and this place isnt cutting it. Go reviews coming up in Feb I think but even with that raise it won't be enough. We changed health care providers that was supposed to cost less each week (get paid weekly), but I now see $.50 LESS each month! Just canceled my Aflac insurance too. Was paying $5.25 a week for that for something I'll never use. Sadly, that $5 now gets taxed too, but whatever. Is it tax time yet?

My health insurance at work just went up too. Last year it cost for my wife and I to have coverage, it was costing me $80 dollars a week (health, vision, and dental). This year not only has it gone up but they are now charging a surcharge ($12.50) because my wife is offered health insurance through her work but she chooses to be on mine. So not only has it gone up, but now I have the surcharge on top of that. So I now pay $100 a week for health insurance!! Last year I had surgery (I call it preventative maintenance, which would save them money in the long run) and it cost a total of $750 and guess what? they paid only half of that!?!? So last year I paid in $4160 into my health insurance and it only paid $375 of the 1 medical bill my wife and I had last year? Ef'n bullshit is what that is.

Ya that sucks. I don't get how the whole health insurance works. Supposed to be there for you but it never is. I'm glad I don't get surgery or anything like that ever. Last year pulled my ab, popped a blood vessel and had internal bleeding. Went to my Dr twice, got some x-rays, and got sent to a specialist and only paid for co-pays. So not too bad there. Was supposed to get a MRI too but never went after we knew what it was. I bet that would have cost though.

I had a dream that I owned 2 cars that didnt work. Then I realized I wasnt sleeping, and its sadly a reality.

Has anyone on here played Army of Two? I can't believe it but I'm stuck in the training area. There's a gate that won't open and so I'm stuck. It said to use the GPS and It says to go through the gate, but it won't open and there's no button as of yet.

EDIT: got it, only took 20 minutes to figure it out.
