Performance questions

I have a couple questions.
I have intentions of building a 84 c-10 shortbed 2x4. It is a gift from my dad. I have always wanted the truck and he is finally deciding to buy a new rig. My plan is to be a street legal drag truck.
Here are my questions:
1. I am going to build a small block probably an all aluminum 400. Which would be a better idea. single carb blower or a nitrous setup.
2. Body-wise, I am going to replace as much steel with fiberglass as i can. Will it become important to box the frame to retain a rigid frame?
3. If I choose a nitrous setup is it a must that i use all forged internals to contend with the extra strain on the rotating assembly?
