Interior Light not coming on

I have an '05 Suburban and recently the interior lights do not come on with the doors open (at all). They work with the rear door (cargo) open but turn off with a min. They used to remain on for about 5 min before they turned off automatically. I have read past threads concerning the light control module and faulty door switches and I am leaning towrds the control module. Past post suggest the center of the console/dash for 99'-01' models. I would assume '05 would be in the same location. Has anyone else encountered this problem? :runaround:
