help me

i have an 88 jeep cherokee and the fuel pump whines really loud after a few mins of driving and then engine dies but fires right back up and does the same thing iv replaced the pump and the filter. any suggestions will help. thanks

4.0? I'd say Crankshaft Position Sensor. Dying then starting back up is a classic symptom. How are your plugs, cap and rotor?

my fuel pump loses pressure as soon as i accelerate after a few min of driving it drops to about 10 psi. i have replaced the pump twice my distributor cap and rotor
