05 GMC Sierra mileage...

Hey,
I'm currently looking at this 2005 GMC Sierra 4x4. Eveerything is good, except the miles... it currently has about 176k on it for $12,000 So obviously, the price is lower, but I'm still a bit worried about it. I've noticed some other trucks etc, are in classifieds that have almost 300k on them (eg: one was like a F-350) .. any opinions on the sierra??
The drive out to see it is also an hour and a half from my place, so I'd like to know other peoples opinions about it before I go (around jan. 7th)
