2005 3.5l with 80k miles. The car makes a creaking noise from 10mph-0mph on slow braking. On hard braking it does not make any creaking noise. I have replaced the following parts in an attempt to fix the issue:
Front sway bar links ( one was broken)
Front sway bar bushings (dry and creaking when pusing on front end)
Front brake pads and rotors (they were shot)
Front upper strut mounts/bearings (creaking noise when not moving and turning the wheel lock to lock)
Front tie rod ends (one was loose)
I have greased the lower control arm ball joints and I have sprayed lube on all suspension bushings and subframe busings with no luck. I have loosened and re-torqued all subframe bolts. I have read about engine mounts but the rear mount looks like a rubber bushing not oil filled????
It is coming from the right front and does not make a difference when turning while braking. I am baffled to what the noise is. Any suggestions from a chrysler person on here? My next attempt is to buy a chassis-ear to see if I can pinpoint the noise.
PM me if you can help thanks!!!!!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Well the problem is fixed. I removed both front lower control arms and the rear bushings were cracked bad and the front bushings were torn. I installed 2 new front control arms (with ball joints) and the nosie is gone. The control arms were $170 each!
I also noticed the rear engine mount was seperating, but not causing the issue.
