02 heating problem

02 Bonneville, 70K, climate control.

The operating temp reaches normal, but still get cold air out of heater. The hoses to and from heater core are hot. I am suspecting the air mix actuator or air blend actuator. From doing a search on air mix actuator I believe it is located behicnd the glove box, is that correct?? Do I need to disable the air bags to work on the actuator??

The actuator is located on the heater core box. It's always best to remove the negative battery cable while working in this area.
