I have looked all over for the adjustment screws to aim the headlights with and can't find them?? Can anyone direct me to where they are? Thanks!

They are located above and to the side of light, behind the headlight retainer part. You might need to remove the cover on top of it all. I was trying to find a pic but cant find any.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! This is for a 92 right?? I still can't find them, usually they have a star nut on a shaft but don't see anything like it but I'm determined to find them!!

Here is a pick of the light housing, one adjuster is on top, the other is on the right(or left). You might have to remove the plastic cover on top of the headlights to get to the top adjuster. And the one in this pic should access thru the front.

And Im think these use a phillips to adjust. Its been a while since Ive messed with one of these 92's. And from what I remember, these were a bear to get adjusted.

heres a pic of my 92, hard to tell though

did you ever install that new prndl module?

Yes I did. So far the doors has not locked by them selves but I thought this would take care of the unlock feature which it did not. And what I mean is when you put the car in "D" the doors automatically lock and when you put it back into "P" it would normally unlock which still does not happen???

Now the temp here is around 0 so it stays in the open loop for alot longer and when the doors would lock by themselves it would be in the transission of going into closed loop. So actually by then I'm in the car and off about my business.

Tonight after work I will start the car and let it warm up for a good 1/2 hour, that's when it usually did it. So we'll see.

Seems to be but that's probably because it's so cold out.

I am confident that by replacing your prndl module your problem will be solved. Cold weather has nothing to do with engine idling better :).

here is one more test

Disconnect multifunction alarm module connector behind the ipc (one that has Lt blue wire for terminal “C”
ignition switch in run position
unlock door locks
jump terminal C with lt blue wire to battery voltage
if power doors do not unlock repair open in ckt 195 (lt blue wire), if they unlock disconnect connector c206 (it has orange with black stripe wire going to terminal “A”), ignition switch still in run position, transmission in Park, measure voltage between the terminal A and battery + if you don’t get battery voltage then check ckt 434 for an open. If you get battery voltage, repeat the same step with gear selector in Drive if you get battery voltage again check ckt 434 (orange with black stripe wire) for short to ground. If you don’t find open or short in ckt 434 replace prndl module (and you already did that)

please do this tests and let me know what your results are - we are very close. It could be loose connection somewhere. Thx 3100

if this does not work readjust your nss according to repair manual's procedures.

Ok but this sounds like it will take some time so I will wait for it to warm up abit. Could the NSS cause this, I mean if I'm out of adjustment by as little as 1-2mm could it be enough to do that??

Thanks for the time to write that down.

No problem, alconk - lets leave nss for the end just test this opens and shorts. When and if you find open or short in one of the above mentioned wires let me know I will tell you where each one starts and ends and if they splice into other wires. Just one question for you - did this automatic door locking problem start after you fixed your speedometer needle or this is the old problem?

It's a old problem, I will say the doors have not locked on me since the replacement of the PRND12
