blower motor resistor quit

My f250 will only blow on high. I replaced the blower motor resistor and it worked fine for a few days and now it has quit working on all but high again. Any ideas as to what could be the cause.

Your blower motor could be going bad and drawing too many amps for the resistor to handle. Or a classic intermittent short :(
