I pulled the tranny and it proved to be quite a treat but I am having one heck of a time trying to get the used one back in. Does anyone have any helpful advice to help get it back in

thanks in advance

I used my floor Jack with a board of wood 8" wide and 16 " or so long... I tried to get the trans as level and as balanced as possible..

Once it hits the pins a little nudge to make sure and then thread a couple of bolts... It is difficult to put the trans back into the van...

I wish I had a Pic for you...

Use a piece of wood & jack up the frnt of the engine!
The rear of engine will tilt down for easy installation.

Actually if you are using a trans or floor jack to install the trans this will make it worse... and if you do not support the engine close to level you'll bend the bracket to dogbone mount and damage the front motor mount under the oil pan.... I do not recommend jacking on the front of the engine at all..
