1990 Transmission swap

Hey all, I was wondering if a 1990 Civic 5 speed trans is the same as, or will fit a 1996 Civic? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

no it wont yours is hydro and the old civic are cable clutch.

i did actually put a cable tranny into a 93 del sol.. the mount was different on the pass side, and i just ran a cable
