what will a stock GTP run in the quarter?

as you know I just bought a 2000 GTP, and I was wandering what to expect when I go to the track. I also want to know track time before I put any mods on it.......

I ran my car 3 times stock. Keep in mind that my car is a coupe and they tend to be 1 to 2 tenths faster.
Run 1 - 14.8
Run 2 - 14.8
Run 3 - 14.5
All runs were at about 93 mph.
All cars are different though so who knows what you'll get?? I think in general you should be able to hit 14.9's consistantly.:cool:

i ran 15.4's with my stock 92 GTP. then made some major upgrades and soon ran 12's:finger:

When mine was stock it did 14.5. Now its down to 13.1 Needs to be faster. ;)

stock times were a 14.20 @ 96.3...

usually mid 14's at best (rare) and high 14's with the occasional very low 15. The nicest part of the gtp is the ultra easy transition into 13's with cheap mods. After that it gets expensive :smoker2:

I believe it. I soon will see what mine will do now that i got a Thrasher CAI and a complete custom exhaust.

My best run was a 14.6 stock in my '98 GTP coupe. I just got it so i havn't done anything to it yet, but i plan on gettin a CAI and a manifold then save up and get a turbo. I'll see what it does then.
