04 Engine Noise

Hi,

I have a 04 Taurus with 135000 miles and it has started making a noise that you can clearly hear while idling that sounds like a dry bearing in the motor. The noise is coming from the top side of the engine on the drivers side, somewhere underneath the intake manifold. I have used a long screwdriver to listen to different areas, but I can not isolate the noise. Any ideas?
