ok... this is gona be kinda long but oh well... a few months ago my brother had a friend from South Carolina (in florida) over for a while and i couldnt miss this chance to show of my RC10TC3... so i showed it to him and naturally he wanted to see it run so ii charged the battery and my brother drived us down to the vacant resturant parking lot. He was driving a 91 Camaro RS with the stock 305 v8.... and thats important later.

well i started driving it around and the brothers friend had to say "damn thats fast" then my bro just has to say "my car will smoke that..."

so i start to get an idea and point to here to there and i say "Lets Go..."

and at this time theres a little crowd so i wanna make it a good show...

and we stage up at the first point and get the brothers friend to say go...

my reaction time was better so i was ahead real quick... and once he was in second gear (auto) there was an obvious increase in his speed but once we got to the second point i was ahead by a few inches probobly almost a foot but i was at an angle... then i turned around real quick afraid that he would get mad and run it over...lol... but then he turns around burnin a lil rubber trying to show off after his defeat... but actually if he would have gotten around 20 more feet he would of won... but anyways he did...

well afterward i let the friend drive it... well he went around a lil then started towards me and i didnt know about it and he ran into my foot when i was waling the other direction at full speed and immediantly i get pissed... it was only 25 dollars worth of damnage but i got so pissed i couldnt remember what i said... well ... thats the end...

LOL. Funny kill.

I remember from my old barracks in the Air Force, we had a parking lot that was parallel with the main road going out of the base. The speed limit was 35. We used to sit there with my buddy's RC and from a stop, chase and pass all the cars passing by (they were mostly doing the speed limit...you don't speed in an airbase).

If only they could build a real electric car with that kind of acceleration (scaled-up, even).

i use to be into rc's as well. what carnutt means is that a typical well preped rc can go 30+ mph. and thats a 10th scale. the thing is, they also corner like its on rails at 30mph. now if you scale it up to a 1/1 scale. they will be goin 300mph and will be cornering like its on rails at over 300mph. esp if you drive a nitro. now imagine how sick cars would be if it can all do that!! anyways, what do you have on tc3? was it a electric or nitro?

i've had a glodzilla 4 with two 17 turn trinity topaz's, and a lrp f1 speed controller, with team associated blue t maxx shocks and two hi tech high torque servos.

i've also had a Tmaxx with a megatech exhuast, taller delrin gears, megatech alumium chassis brace, bulk heads, and bumper, with stable maxx wheels with streethawg tires. that car was good for around 40mph runs. lolz i use to chase my friends RS4nitro and tc3 with that. and i get to run them over cuase they're driving skills not too great.

i've also had a electric TC3 with trinity 13 turn motor with timing advanced, with tekin speed controller, with special suspension settings, widened wheel base, aluminium drive shaft with delrin differential adaptors, with alumium suspenion arms.

i've also had a tamiya TL01 with a trinity 17 turn motor and a super rooster speed controler with tamiya upgraded sway bars, and hpi alumium shocks.

i've also had a team losi JRXT. that was their very very first race truck. hehe its pretty nice for an old truck.

heres a pic of my glodzilla before i sold it.

I got a boat and live in Jacksonville. I would have to dig it out of the utility room, and do some test runs with it. It's pretty badass! It's a cigeratte boat painted red and white with a metalic like clearcoat. It hass Miller stickers on it. The back has a sticker that says "Eat My Wake" I love it!

ooh man don't even get me started on how much i've spent on my clodbuster. i bought it in like 97 new for 400 everything to get it running. then i sold it for 200 casue i didn't have the money to support my hobby. then later i thought it back for 120 from the same guy. then i started upgrading from scratch. if i just bought the whole kit, i would've saved alot of money. instead i started off small such as oil filled shocks, then i got the suspension lift kit. then i wanted more stablity because the stock chassis wheelbase is too narrow. so i bought a 4 link wheel base extention kit. then finally i said fuck it, then got the entired remaining clodzilla 4 race kit. then my articulation went from 6 inches to a whopping 12 inches!! as you can see i can clear a whole aresol can with all 3 other wheels still planted on the ground. then there was a few things that i added here and there. i spent a total of over $1000 on that truck. then i sold it for around $380 on ebay. doh~!! then i used that money to buy myself a t maxx. now that was a awesome truck. its fast, and you can jump that thing off a large flight of stairs. but it just can't rock crawl like how a clod could though. anyhow i ended up spending 700 on the t maxx. and i sold it to my friend for 200. doh~ again.

Yea.. R/C cars are a freaking bitch. Big waste of money in the end.. I had a T-Maxx as well.. and a few others.

It'd just be crazy if someone can produce a motor that was like 2.0 liters and have the same size to power ratio as something like ones of those .12 picco engines that make like 1.4 hp...

haha but those motors need constant rebuilt and those glow plugs dont' last more then a month of bashing. and yes r/c's are very very expensive hobby. but i did learn alot about real cars from those r/c cars' yeah hard to believe right?

Yea!!! That and Gran Turismo!!!! R/C cars really helped me understand the dynamics of what happens to your car when you turn the wheel in different directions at a young age..

grand turismo and r/c cars taught me how to tweak suspension setups, well mostly r/cs, you can really feel the difference with different toe in, out, caster, wheelbase, camber, and stiffness and dampen rating, they also taught me how to mess with gear ratio's. but i only fully got to understand everything when i went to school for it.
