What's your fastest model???

I posted a thread like this a while back, but that was a long time ago, since then, many of us have finished new models, and we have alot of new members as well. So I posted this thread JUST for entertainment, we need something to chat it up about, right?

(just for our imaginations ;) )

What's the fastest plastic model car you have??? Mine would have to be my skyline R32 :cool: It has stock tires and a full interior, so theres probably a limit. I"m thinking maybe low 11's down the 1/4 mile :D

I know this thread might be kinda dumb and useless, but we need something to fuel our imaginations a bit :)

So how bout it??? what's your fastest car :)

Depends, will it beat my R/C car?

Right now my 360 Spider is the bad boy of the model table but he has some stiff compition with my Lamborghini Murc that waiting to be built! :devil:

well my fastest tamiya is this 1:24 contach...built straight from the box, with battery power..

ooo, look at it go (appolages for photo quality, i was trying to shoot it while it was moving so i could get some real motion blur...instead my very good camera has taken some shitty photos)

This would have to be my fastest. I'd say 9 seconds. It's a drag modified '67 Camaro Z-28 for those who don't recognize it.

How about a 1997 Matco Dragster with a 5.04 ET down the 1/4 mile? I think that beats most of yours here.

Depends what surface we're talking about.

On ice and snow then my Swedish Rally Peugeot 206.
On the dirt then my NZ Rally 206!
For tarmac then the F1s would win by miles.

Who makes that model (Murcielago) ?

for 1/24 would the Enzo be a good choice ?

As for 1:1 my car is pretty fast but drinks llloooots of gas :(

The Murcielago is made by Maisto. Its a metal body kit, with not a lot of enterior detail or engine detail. So there is lots of work to be done on it to make it look good-the body is nice with a nice metallic orange paint.
