Rear seat folding flat?

I searched the forum and Googled the issue, but could not find any information. Does anyone know or had to modify the rear seat to fold flat, turning it into a small bed?
I have owned conversion vans before and like this feature very much. Toyota Previa has the same feature. Since my Venture will be a traveling vehicle this feature will be very useful.
Folding flat will occupy the luggage space, but I will be installing a hitch-mounted carrier and box on it.

As far as I know; while the seats on my Venture do recline, I don't think they open up into a bed. If I needed one, I guess I'd remove the rear seats and get an air mattress...

The rear seats do fold forward so that they are all flush (flat), which allows you to carry items like plywood and other things that take up a lot of space. You can close all of your rear seats and then lay an air mattress on top of all of the closed seats.

Thanks for the input. I will play around with the rear seat, and see if I can modify it to fold flat, with the upholstery facing up; I will update the forum, but it won't be for a while; I have other projects first.
