Replacement Wiper Blade Fitment Problem

I have been trying to replace the wiper blades (whole blade assembly, not just the insert) on my '05 Chevy Aveo.
The Aveo has the "hook" type of attachment on the wiper arm, so what supposed to happen is that the replacement blade simply slides in, and a little plastic tap locks it in place.
The problem is this - it seems the little plastic tab does not lock in, and I'm worried that the blades may work their way loose. My summer blades seem to have the little plastic tab "inside" the hook, putting pressure outward, but I've now bought two sets of winter blades and they all have the plastic tab "outside" the hook putting pressure inward.
Has anyone else encountered this hook mounting incompatibility?

May be the wrong ones for it.
Take it off and take it to the parts place where you got them and show them the problem.
Also take you old one with you.
Let us know how it goes.
Good Luck

I use anco blades with this type fastener..these you can reverse the blade mounted plastic piece then see it it locks..
it will only lock one way..so reversing should do it..
the locking tabs need be inside the hook..
