knocking noise?

Is that knocking noise from under my tires the tie rod bushings going? I have type r suspension on them and when I go oevr a bump I hear this knocking sound. Just wondering. Also what kind of chip can I put in my 97 Gs-R. I keep finding these 94-95 Gs-R Chips. Would that work with myne. Thanks

Get your CV Boot/axles checked... its somethign with those.

its more like a knocking noise...ill have to get those checked out

so now I have another problem...my check engine light started to come on yesterday. I checked under the hood and everything seemed to be fine so I reset the ECU and it went off. Today it came on again and Im not sure what the cause could be. I have the pin that checks the ECU but when I remove the piece on the side all there is is a metal piece. How do I connect the pin to these two wires that Im hearin about. The only thing that i did wrong was by mistake I started my car in first since I was parked on a hill..haha sounds funny and it stalled. Could stalling real hard do that?

You shouldn't be able to start your car without depressing the clutch. I don't know why that would be. Maybe that's what the check engine light is about.
