My dad was working on his truck getting ready for plowing. He started the truck multiple times. Yesterday it wouldnt start. It cranks but its not getting fuel. Is there any kind of inertia switch or fuel cut off switch on these? Any other suggestions? Probably is the fuel pump but we want to see if there could be anything else before we get a new fuel pump.
Thanks,
Justin

Take the fuel cap off and hold ur ear close to the spout and have some one turn the key on. If u hear the pump run for the prime its a pretty good guess its not the pump. There is a relay you could try before the pump. To test that you can just use the relay from the horn or something you know that works and switch the relays. And there is a fuse under the hood for the fuel pump. I believe it is Fuse 8 20A. As far as i know there isnt any inertia switches.

go under the vehicle and have someone crank the vehicle and pound on the fuel tank near the middle...

We tryed banging on the tank the other day but we had no luck. I'll try switching the relays tonight and see what happens.
