Drain Bad Gas

Hey wondering how someone would go about draining some old bad gas out of the gas tank on a 1991 Accord ex-r?

Energize the fuel pump and let it empty out of the fuel line at the filter...lotta pressure, be careful.

and how would you energize the fuel pump?

Turn the key on...or shunt the fuel pump relay...

Some vehicles have a timed cut-off that will stop the fuel pump if it doesn't see the motor start within X seconds of turning the key on...but I'm thinking yours is probably too old for that...I'm thinking it should continue to run as long as the key is on.
