93 Dakota Frame Rails

Any solutions for severely rusting frame rails on my ole 93 Dakota with an 8 foot bed? Not a complicated question, but answer may help from scrapping it.:confused:

How bad rusted are they? Any possibility of welding metal plates to the frame?
