Wipers turn on for no reason

Hey everyone, my wipers have been acting really screwy especially since I went through the car wash today. They'll stay on low delay even though I have the switch OFF. Then eventually they will turn off and seat only to randomly turn on again even though my switch is off. Does this sound like my Multi-function switch is going bad? Everything else works fine with the switch except these wipers from hell. Any suggestions please and well appreciated...

Sounds like the motor control board got wet and sound like something on the board got shorted?

Unplug the multifunction switch when the wipers are running on their own, if the wipers keep running, then you know it's not the switch assembly but probably the logic board on the wiper motor.

Just a follow up on this problem. doctorhrdware, you were right, I finally swapped out my wiper motor pulse board and this corrected my problem. I wasn't in a hurry to work on this because my problems only flared up when I went through high pressure car wash then would correct itself after the board dried.
Thanks again.....
