1996 Eclipse Engine swap?

I have a 1996 Eclipse RS and I want to get a new engine, but I do not know what kind of engine to get. I want something with a turbo and one that can handle up to 450 hp. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Best thing to do is sell it & buy a turbo model if you want an engine capable of over 400hp. Swapping engines in DSMs are not like Hondas...alot of work, money, & patience that I wouldn't recommend. The 4g63 in the turbo models can easily handle 450hp. :sun:

they have blocks and heads and everything withsatnding quite a bit of power. I think they have some 420A stuff but not entirely sure.
