update and need help

minor update, no picture. just paint panel line(mild, not too cartooning i think),wetsand, rubb and a few wet coat. final wet coat actually.

help! after finalcoat still have mild orange peel, do i have to :
1. wetsand-rubb/polish-decal-clearcoat-rubb/polish-wax OR
2. decal-clearcoat-rubb/polish-wax.

thanks.

This is a very interesting project. Great work so far, looking forward to seeing what you do with the interior.

For metallic paints, I'd suggest (if it has a LOT of orange peel) to sand the orange peel down, apply one more coat of paint to revive the metallic, then decal, clear, wet sand, clear, wetsand, polish

for a decent non-metallic paint, I'd do decal, clear, wetsand, clear, polish.

I always put at least 2-3 coats of clear over my decals to prevent rub through. and wasting decals as well as paint.

Hi. Hey, nice build. I love that STI model, but have some negative points I think... Like the modeled under chassis things, or the non direction parts. It's very strange in Tamiya, but well, 2 from 50 of their series ha ha ha...

Ok ok, to the point. Maybe someday I'll get the skills to get those results with the putty, but until now I want to know 2 things, he he.
- What wheels are those of the first pic? I mean... from what kit??
- Do you had to correct some parts to get the wheels at the edge of the panels??

And that's all. I always tend to write so much.

Thanks and CHEERS

Kalam the front bumper looks sick. Great work. My only beef is that the chasis looks like its been thru the wringer. Maybe less weathering will help. Other than that a really nice job. Did I say I love the bumper? :) I might hit you up to make me some decals :D

What putty did you use?
