Well, looks like I won't be able to finish anything after all.
I will send something that I have completed this year though. Just need to select the pic.

Yeah, we got a dozen now. Just. But on the other hand- this time last year, we haven't even started. Hard to say interest if interest is down (but it maybe feels that way, doesn't it?). We haven't gotten many people volunteering prizes this year- maybe that's due to the economy? We'll run the contest now whether we get more or not. If we only get 20 or so, it will make the voting easier, won't it?

I have been recovering from a significant illness this week, and I am behind in PMs. I'm doing the best I can to keep up.

Like last year, entries will be shown for a day before voting starts. This is so that everyone who entered can verify that their build and title are properly shown, and everyone else can verify that all images can been seen. Hopefully there will be no problems, but that will provide a good chance to catch any.

U P D A T E

I will be out of town for New Year's. The deserted island fortress in which I have chosen to ensconce myself to await the coming dawn of the new decade is apparently equipped with something called 'wireless internet access'. As I am unsure what portion of the holiday will/will not find me 'wired', internet access may/may not be reliably obtainable. I will endeavor to have the MOTY entries posted as soon as internet access and suitable canine fur based beverage is secured- however a slight delay may be possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

SO-

-If you plan to enter MOTY and have not yet done so, do it now. If there are issues with your entry, they will be much easier to resolve today than tomorrow. Deadline for entries is 2010 my time. If you will be entering close to the deadline, please check the rules and make sure your entry meets them.

-There are several members who have submitted improperly hosted images. Please fix them and send them to me, or do not. I am really not interested in fighting with anyone about this, but I do need all entries to consistently follow the contest rules.

-I have just over 25 entries now, and they look fantastic. A small batch so far, but definitely good stuff. Do we hear 30...?
