So your ignition key is gonna be just below your seat?...thats cool, how are you going to fill in the hole in the steering column cover?

i think he is going to put a button in the spot of the key ignition in the colum. but i have a push button ignition in my car. it was out of a s2000. i put the button right where thecig lighter was. looks tioght. its like a saftey feature cause you can't start my car with the key. i have to put the key in the ignition, hot and fresh out the kitchen, wait did i just say that?? lol no i put the key in and then i turn it and then i press the button for the car to start. it catches everyone by surprise. i don't know about putting the key ignition under the seat. i would try to fit it somewhere in the middle console. that would be trik. but what ever floats your boat!!

If it'd been me, I think I would have put it in the same place, but probably not with that big ol' box thingy. Would've worked up something a little smaller, and would've let it sit back a bit further.

i wanted to make it smaller and move it back too but if you look under you seat there is a little bump and there was no way to get it over that bump cause there wasnt enough room between the seat and the bump.......i tried everyhting........i wasnt going to do it cause that then i just decides to make the box and it fits right under the seat so its really not in the way.........

pretty clever with the key under the seat but i dunno.... :confused: as 4 me ill leave everything the same but have a kill switch in my car. my friends former 00 si u had to put in a key for the kill switch. i would like to make it that u the only way the car will turn on is if u press the cig lighter that would be my kill switch, but of course thats just me :p

yeah thanks hes going to carpet his(not sure yet tho) i painted mine
when i come there this summer maybe we could meet up sumwhere.we should be painting his car and dropping his engine in....lots of fun....anyway i got it done ran the last wire today and bolted it down heres sum pics......

Looks sweet yo, i got a question, where do u two do all your painting? cause i'll pay one of u guys to paint my hatch and take out the dents and shit and to mold in my WW kit..... i can put on my JDM Front end conversion, but i still wanna get it painted and stuff, so hit me up with a price yo!

well here im painting my car in my garage but there my dad owns a construction business and we have like a big shop and thats where brian is painting his.....about paint you hatch youll have to talk to brian cause im only going to be there for the summer and he is the painter i just prep everything..........just like PM him or sumthing

hey man i like that idea, it would be cool to put it in the glove box, a push igniton and maybe two gauges on it, and put the one side of the box on a track, so when you open the glove box you can slide it out towards you so you can see the gauges.
And also dont the CRX glove box's have a lock on them? dont really know, but oh well. Good idea none the less

what is the first picture all about? Looks to me the most unique thing 1990 has are pink anodized pedals from Autozone. And I'm sure if they could have hidden the whole box they would have, but at the same times, its kinda cool to have them seen. Now myself, I would have had black bolts, but the orange does add a touch of color. I think the whole idea of this is pretty badass, I would have never thought of it (tho I have considered trying to make a hidden ignition button that you push after hte key is in hte ignition, just another safety thing like this)

hey chris, good job figured i woud get in this thread, so you can keep me updated. so i don't have to come to your house ha. and i have seen all the work he and brian has done. and it is a little harder then what you have done 1990civic. just the facts. i am not dissing anything you have done, becuase custom is custom no matter what it is. but i think a car looks better bone stock. rims, front lip, and spoiler. that is all i am into. i would rather move then look good. right chris? ;) he blew his motor, and didn't even to really drive it. haha

thats cool joshups. but the way i think if i wanted a race car i would go with an old stang, or vett. i dont think its worth my time or money to put into a honda for speed, but you can make the 4g hatch look really good with aftermarket parts. unfortunately i have had a chance to drive some different fast cars in my like (firebird,vett,camaro) and once you get a fell for that speed theres no honda that can compare. this isnt a diss on any body who goes for speed, im just stating my preference isnt speed in a honda, i go for looks.
