No brakes?

Before i replaced the ball joints/tie rod ends i replaced the rear brake pads and a leaky brake line on the rear drivers side. After finishing everything else i started it up and no brakes at all......the brake pedal will pump up with the key off, but once you start it the pedal goes all the way to the floor, no brakes whatsoever. ABS light is not on, but the brake warning light is. I filled the brake fluid reservoir to the top. Do i need to bleed the brakes or what else can i check? '99 Jimmy 4WD

You need to bleed the brakes. When you replaced the leaky rear line you introduced air into the system.

I thought as much....it's a pain trying to get things done, i work out of town and can't get back to it until the weekend. Thanks so much for replying, Dewayne,
