Thanks for the news, but these news are weird. Since tamiyas escort is not in production, then domino can release it? I never understood this, so i can copy any tamiya oop model and sell it?

Either way i want the bastos, and mobil ones.

No Domino model does not copy, it had to negotiate with a tamiya Poduction limit and have a monopoly on the sale.

I will certainly order one of these! :)

Would love a Kankkunen RAC edition.

That livery always looked good on the car. Also nice to have a model of Kankkunen!

I checked the web site today and it seems that the release date has been pushed back to mid-January.

Interestingly, when you click on the advert on their homepage the larger version shows the old release date.

Tamiya makes a limited reproduction of this kit exclusively for Domino.
The kits are on its way now and will be released mid-January.

I have sat in a Escort Cosworth, or Cossies as we call them in England. A friend of mine had a Escort GTI and we had the luxury of racing a Sierra (Cossie) down the motorway one evening. I can tell you the Sierra went like a bat out of hell.
