Very nice model! The black roof sure adds something different to the car.

Just a question, how did you paint the interior on it? The paint looks so smooth. I too am just starting up making models again after 5 years, and I can't for the life of me get my interior paint looking that good! :).

christofurr: i spray paint the black colour to interior and then paint some smaller parts using paintbrush.

flyonthewall: yeah thanks for the wing set. it is awesome.. however, a question.. it's really tricky to handle and glue the wing together because the parts are all so tiny and metal.. any hints/tips ???

Camber: i'm using automotive spray paints: Holt's Duplicolour: Cimarron is the colour name.

Thanks for your comments guys... this Fujimi s15 kit's quality is really bad i think.. the front bumper doesn't fit perfectly and the headlights as well... The intercooler (or is it radiator?) has big holes (that use to connect the chasis) on it that is VERY visible from the front. also there are a few things not correctly made.. like the factory wheels should be 16" not 17". The tyres should not be pirellis. The rear window wiper was not positioned accurately. so is this the usual Fujimi problems? if yes, i may want to stay away in the future.

but anyway i feel a lot more confidence after finishing this model and i've decided to join you guys and enter the car model world!

but one bad news... the other S15 i was building is now declared RIP :( I cracked the bodyshell when i was trying to polish it so i have decided to remove the sideskirts + some other parts and put them onto this S15 instead... but i have a problem now.. the sideskirt is glued VERY firmly to the body and i don't seem to be able to remove it??? any one can help me???

Ok.. I remember reading somewhere around here that you put it in the freezer and let the glue freeze. After that you can take out the sideskirt from the kit.

( * I am not good in explaining :) )
