High Speed Internet!

Finnaly, they just finished replacing all the cables around here to fiber optic lines and I finnaly ordered my cable modem in and I have to go pick it up tonight! NO MORE SLOW CRAP FOR ME! :D

cable's not as fast as it's cracked up to be. Pages load at about the same pace.. the only difference is downloads.. it takes about 3 minutes to download an mp3. With my ethernet it takes about 3 seconds. Literally.. it's incredible.

haha whoa i havent had anything take over 10 mins usually 100-200mb files
mp3's all under an minute and im on cable

I hope to be joining the ranks of high speed users in the next few months :) I just finished up a deal today so that by next month I will be on a new budget.....details to come in a few weeks :devil: (and no, it's not anything illegal, immoral or something I couldn't tell my mother about :p )

*shrug* my cable was nice... have it at my parent's house with a wireless internet network, which is the main advantage to it all. MP3s usually take around 3 mins.. which is nice cause streaming is possible.. but ethernet has me spoiled rotten. :D

I have adelphia power link its pretty fast the downloads goes fast to does anybody else have it?

i got screwed, neither dsl or cable is available where i live. but i was able to get the sprint broadband satellite. and it actually turned out well. i dont care about the searching speed, but dl'ing is great. i use a cracked dap program and i can get 700k/s. not bad for $40/month.
