Hey, my 1995 Continental (4.6L) had a somewhat fast and loping idle and a intermittent SES light. The code was for something similar to slow switching o2 sensor. Decided it was because of the previously dead valve. New plugs, wires and both upper o2 sensors, needed it anyway. And now it runs great, except that it idles around 2k warm. Checked streaming data with my cheap scan tool and it said TPS percentage was 18.8 at idle. So, i decided I needed a new TPS, since it's only $30. Installed, and now it's even a little faster, with the TPS percentage at 23.9. Both times I manually verified that the throttle blades were closed. Does anyone have any ideas what's going on? I tried wiggling the TPS wires and watching the scanner, no change. The car runs perfectly, just idles way too fast. Any ideas would be more than greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ended up being the idle air control valve/motor. Little over $50, 15 minutes to change. No code ever showed up, but it's back to normal now.
