custom interior?

i want to customize my interior...or at least upgrade to leather seats... i heard you can rip out seats from other gm's and use them or re-uze the stock seats please post any pictures or info on doing this...:cool:

I'm not sure how to go about changing the front of the dash but i have an idea for the top piece. I have an old 65 Ford van that i needed a new dash for..apparently its really hard to find/fix so i brought it to an interior specialist and what they did was cover over the original dash piece with new vinyl in order to keep the original shape. I don't know how well this would work in a caprice because you might run into clearance issues between the windshield or between the door if it isn't done right.

As for the seats...i'm pretty sure your right..almost any GM seat would fit. But if you brought the seats to an interior shop they could re-upholster it with leather just like any other seat. If you can, look around in a junkyard for some old cadillacs and other GMs for ideas

this is possible..seat belts and the mounting holes are issues that need attention..might need welding hole drilling etc...
