Who is Jared?

Who are Subway?

If they're a band,I hope they don't suck!

Am I in the wrong generation,or just the wrong location?

Or both?

Wrong Location:D (I think everyone know Jared, even my 75 year old grandpa and school kids know him)
Subway doesnt suck; they are the best chain sub sandwich place in Canada/US, IMO. Emmmm, they make the best subs....
And Jared was some 300+ pound guy who started a subway diet; he would eat 6 inch subway subs instead of pizza, steaks, and all that unhealthly stuff. So, he went down to probably about 140. So, Subway pays him lots of money to be in their commercials, touting themselves as a healthy form of fast food.

Seriously though, he went from 425 lbs to 190. Of course Subway claims that their healthy fast food alternative was the cause, it was merely the ambition, and helped to keep what pounds he lost on his walk from work to Subway off.

the version of Jared's story that I heard was that a sub was all he ate every day... a sub's about 500 calories.. being generous there. The average person is supposed to have a 2,000 calorie diet, and most have upwards of that. You do the math.

Chris

And he didnt have cheese or mayo on his sub; those 2 things add soooo much fat and calories.

If you are THAT determined to lose weight the sandwiches will be good w/o all the mayo n cheese. Every calorie and fat gram counts. The subs tha claim to be under 7 grams of fat have a little disclaimer showing that's for the bread, meat and veggies....and that adding cheese and other condiments will alter that.

The guy is a friggin' genius. Not about the "sandwich a day to lose weight" part....but the fact that after he LOST the weight, he gave Subway all the credit. He's now making bank - just because he had the sense to give Subway all the credit instead of taking some for himself!!

Its like he's pulling a legitimate scam, one in which everybody can walk away happy. I've even seen these displays in Subways with at least two or three other people that followed in Jared's footsteps and lost tons of weight. The guy has started a craze.

Ya know, when his commercials first started popping up I was like "wow, good for him, glad to see someone actually can become healthy" now it's gone to "Jesus H. there's that queer who used to be fat. Why dont they get a guy in a talking sub suit and end this crap" Anyone else feel that way?
