1996 jimmy-son ran out of oil-not starting

My son changed the radiator in his jimmy and did not tighten the oil lines completly on the radiator, thus leaked out the oil. Had it towed home,put oil in it and would not start. I am going to work on it now to check for spark,fuel,burnt fuses...ect--Am i starting in the right spot? The engine rolls over.

What engine?
Did it lose all oil pressure and make any noise when it ran out of oil?

When you are checking for fuel and spark also check compression.
And be sure to check for spark to all plugs.
