2007 sebring headlights... how to turn off?

I'm trying to see if you can drive the car with just the parking lights on or not. We want to go see Christmas lights but they want the headlights off. As soon as it's put in gear the driving lights come on. Can anyone help?

if you slightly apply the parking brake just enough so the head lights go off but not enough to actully apply the brake thar should get you where you need to be
