traction control coming on for no reason?

The issue started with the ABS engaging for no reason when the wheels are turned hard lock at low speed? Now this morning the service traction control system light came on? Trans fluid seems to be at the correct level? Any ideas?

Any other lights on?

The traction control system relies on the ABS system to operate. The trans fluid would not be a factor in the light coming on. If the check engine light or the ABS light is on than the traction control will be disabled and the light will be on as well.

ABS engaging at low speed is a pretty common symptom for a wheel speed sensor losing signal.

This indicates an issue with an ABS sensor, most likely. Best thing to do is to have it put on a scanner and check the outputs from all 4 wheel speed sensors. There is probably 1 that is weak at low speed (under 10mph).

With the wheels turned to hard lock, the harness to one of the sensors could be creating an 'open' (meaning a break in a wire), or shorting out. Either way, the advise you have received to date is pretty much spot on. You won't know which wheel is causing it until a scan is done.
