O2 sensor

Anyone having issues with their Bank 1 O2 sensor burning out. Had to replace 2 in the last six months. What would be causing this?:banghead:

What's "burning out"? The heater element or the sensor quits? Was the DTC the same each time? What DTC are you getting?

The DTC is saying too lien; O2 sensor Bank 1

A lean mixture burns hotter than a rich mixture, that might explain why it's burning out the sensor. What year, make, model and engine do you have? What DTC is being set? Have you gone through the diagnosis and repair procedure for the DTC that is being set? Or did you just replace the sensor? The DTC is telling you the mixture is lean, it's not telling you what's causing it.
