does anyone make an adapter for a cd changer for the stock head unit that allows an alpine or kenwwod or some other manufacturer's changer to use the strock headunit controls? PIE makes one for the S-type :

Ditto on that. I have looked on the web for an adapter but to no avail.
They just don't make one. And the dealer wants 5 times what it's worth to buy a changer from them.

i am sorry to say but no they dont make such a divice this is because the cd unit has to be integrated with your computer in the car otherwise it will never work or your computer will stress out and give you all kind of faults
so sorry but i ll have to say the cd unit from jaguar is the only one you can use
