A couple of weeks ago I replaced the broken turn signal/cruise control/windshield wiper control/etc., etc., on my daughter's 1999 Regal. Everything went fine, no problems at all. Everything worked great afterwards.
Now, however, things have changed!! I just took the car out for a drive, and OMG, what a change!! It's night, so the lights come on OK, along with the dash lights. So far, so good. Now things get interesting. I turn on the right turn signal, the turn signal doesn't work, but several of the idiot lights on the dash come on, and stay on! It gets better. When I turn on the left turn signal, all, and I mean all, of the lights go out, and the car dies. The radio dies, along with the heater, everything goes dead. Kind of disconcerning when you're going down the interstate at 60 MPH!!! :eek7:
None of the fuses blow, the car starts up again, no problem. I can't drive the car like this, I need some serious help!!! Could one of the various modules cause a problem like this?? I got the MFS at a junk yard, maybe it's gone bad?? A MFS is almost $300 online new, I can't afford it. :banghead:

I'd first make sure all of your light sockets have the correct bulbs in them (front turn signal is 3157A/4157A - the latter preferred; rear turn signal/stop light bulbs are 3057) Particularly make sure there aren't any 3357/3457 bulbs installed anywhere.
I might also have the battery & charging system tested somewhere too for the heck of it. AutoZone & Advance Auto will do it for free.
Beyond that, I wouldn't know where to start. I suppose make sure the turn signal arrow lights in the dash work too.

I had the same problem with my daughters car, use the turn signal switch and it would kill engine. It was a bad ignition switch, they get carbon on the contacts and arc across to wrong contacts causing weird problems.
If you are handy you can disassemble the switch and clean it and reassemble to correct problem, that is what I did and it has been trouble free for 3 years.
Do a search for igintion switch, below are a couple of threads.
