99 accord door unlocking issue

Hi,
I have a 99 accord (automatic, power doors/windows, 4 cyl LX).
I am not able to unlock all doors using just the key on the driver side door. So I have to get in and push (up) the unlock button to do so.
however if I use the key from the front passenger side door lock, it unlocks all the doors.
I thought that normally if I turned the key twice in the lock on the driver side door key hole, it should unlock all doors.
Is my understanding incorrect?
If not please let me know how to fix this problem.
Thanks

So far I have not received any help on this issue.
I guess I will have to take it to the mechanic.

Try to turn it and hold for a second or two

I am glad it worked!
I think it is in you owner's manual though.
