'97 LeSabre steering problems

I have two questions: Where does one check the level of the power steering fluid on this car? I have both a Haynes manual and the 2-volume 1997 Buick LeSabre shop manual. Neither one shows where the reservoir is located and how to add or check fluid. The Haynes manual shows an earlier model engine that is different than my 3.8 liter V6.
Secondly, I get a grinding or rubbing noise when I make a fairly hard turn to the left. After I'm going straight, the noise is gone. It only does it on left turns. Any ideas?

Problem solved. I got out my trouble light and inspection mirror and located the reservoir at the back of the engine where it was hard to see. I was low on power steering fluid. After bringing it up to the correct level, everything is fine and there are no more noises. I still wonder why I got the growling noise only on left turns. The car has 115K miles and I don't think the level was ever checked before by either my father-in-law (original owner) or myself. Just thought I would pass on the experience.
