Problem with Hobby Design CF Decal

I just received a set of Hobby Design CF decals. As I was working with them, it seemed like there was no adhesive on the backside of the decal. They do not stick to any surface, painted or non-painted. I treated the surface with Micro Set first then with Micro Sol to soften the decal. But after 15 to 20 minutes, the edges would lift off when I touch it. What am I doing wrong?

it is water slided decal.Did you use water?

I heard about a tehnique but i never try'it yet, but i saw the results, no silvering!
So i sugest you to try Future or the new name Pledge Floor Finish with a paintbrush. Brush under the decal and push the exces out with a slightly wet q-tip. Let it dry. If is not working, you should buy anyway another sheet from an other maker!

Hmm...Sounds like a good idea, but I don't want to go out and buy a big bottle of Future of just a few pieces of decals. I've worked with SMS CF decals before, it never had this problem. Maybe I should stick with SMS

You could also try diluting some white glue with water and using that to help get the decal to stick. I saw this technique in a Model Graphix magazine but have not tried it myself.

You could use Future also to make windscreen's and windows look more transparent! Or if you have some scratches on the transparent plastic, you could polish it out with a polishing stick or compound and and dip it into a cup of Future Floor Polish. Let the excess drain off and place the part upright on the paper towel!
Many modelars use future also to seal the decals to!
