Hi to everyone! this is my first model.
Since I have had a surgical operation (i had my tonsils removed) and i was going to face two weeks binded at home i decided to buy a model to keep me busy! :D

I couldn't resist to the gt-r fashion especially after seeing MrBoy's one! (my god that's gorgeous!)

So....i went out...got to the shop and tried to buy all the stuff needed (without speaking, you can't speak for weeks after tonsils removal :D that was funny!)

i decided to post the picturer i've got so far here:

be nice with comments since it is my first model ever!! hahaha

Hi nice start so far! A few suggestions though, maybe next time you can try using the window masking tape on the inside of the clear part, this will retain the smooth, glossy side of clear parts on the outside. Also, i would recommend to do all the necessary body like sanding off seam lines or other imperfections before painting. This will help you to prevent unnecessary mess up in later stage.

I hope my tips could help you and im looking forward to your finished build.

I really have to thank you all for your suggestions and compliments
I owe a lot to this forum, indeed i learned a lot from the replies and w.i.ps i saw here.

i'll keep updating the pics in these days.

ps Roland! your suggestion about using masking tape behind is so brilliant! next time i will! (by the way your GT-R is so beautiful)

and yes..i should have sanded the body..next time! :D

cheers!

The progress and quality is excellent for your first model!

The way you are using the tools makes it seem like you've been modelling for a lot longer!

Btw, is it really neccessary to prime the window pieces before doing them black?
