Broken mirror housing unit

Ok so it looks like someone came by and smacked my driver side mirror, breaking the housing unit for it. I'm only talking about the actual hard plastic housing unit that holds the glass mirror; everything else is perfectly fine (the mirror itself, the electronics, everything). The housing unit just kind of swings free loosely now horizontally when I push it with my hand, although it is still perfectly well attached to the car (i can drive on the free way with it just fine; in fact I can't even really tell where it is broken).
Anyway, my question is whether this is something i can fix on my own without having to buy the part AND pay for labor. I found the mirror online here:http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Pontiac/G6/Kool_Vue/Mirror/2007/Base/6_Cyl_3-dot-5L/PT18EL.html?loc=Driver+side&tlc=Auto+Body+Parts+%26+Mirrors
I'm not sure if this includes only the plastic housing unit or the wires and whatnot as well, but either way I would like to know if this is something I could do with relative ease ( I don't have much experience working on cars and I don't have much more than a basic tool box for unscrewing bolts/ screws, etc).
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advance.

i have never personally done this, but shouldnt be too hard. in the link provided, it looks like the mirror comes with everything needed. in the picture it looks like there are wires hanging out. i would probably contact them and be sure before ordering it. IMO $65.96 seems a little cheap and as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". i have a feeling the mirror will end up fading and peeling from the sun, or something.
anyways...looking at the picture, it looks like there are 3 bolts that hold the mirror in place. If i remember right from my GF's '08 G6 there is a little cover on the inside of the car that would snap over the mirror...but in ours there are speakers, or "tweeters" in place of it also. anyways...i would think that just pops off and inside are the bolts holding the mirror on. again...i have not done this so i am not sure.
i would imagine you will need some new clips for the cover if they are anything like GM's door clips (junk)
