s10 2.2 5 spd 2wd... I was sitting at the light and my truck died... wouldn't start. I had no power to gauges or headlights, flashers and stereo worked. the daytime running lights didnt work, so i tried to turn the headlights on with the switch, there was a loud buzz from fuse box under the hood. when i turn on ignition there is no power to anything, but stereo. doesnt crank over, speedo shows 100 mph. no dash lights, no power to fuel pump... no gauges read anything except voltmeter reads 12v. i have power from the ignition switch. Sorry for the choppy post... Im a bit irritated with this truck.
I was thinking it was ignition switch or bad ground somewhere... Help please!

Start at the battery and battery cabels.
Both neg and positive and always check grounds to.

If good 12 volts on battery and cabels go to fuse boxs and check for full power to them and check fuses for 12 volts both sides.

The demand for power is a great demand today, because of the electric fuel pump, ECU, PCU, Control modules, and digital dash.
How old is this battery?

Check all fuse for 12 volts both sides.
Check headlamp switch fuse no 1 a 10amp
Check mega 115 fuse
