98 Ford Contour overheating

I have replaced the thermostat in it 3 times in the past year and it keeps going out. My car will overheat to the point where the check engine light comes on. The coolant is perfectly fine in it. I don't know what else to do! It only has 80,000 miles.

Get a coolant system flush to remve any blockage.
