01 bravada engine issue?

Hey all. I just put a cold air intake on my 01 Bravada. Its a 4.3 TBI. I took it for a test drive after install, and everything was great. I drove it for about 20 minutes. Then today, on my way to work, I took off from a light, and it took off fine, at first, then it started acting like I had left off and stomped on the gas about 4 times. It smoothed out and has run great since then. Any possible ideas out there? I still have the old code for the 'Secondary Air Injection System,' so that could be a possible problem. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you all in advance.

Make sure there are no air leaks behind the in duct sensors before the throttle body, for starters.

It may have been a sudden shot of cold air it hasn't seen and is "re-learning" new running conditions.

I got it figured out. the rubber boot behind to MAF was to close to the edge of the intake tube and slipped off. I adjusted it and now it runs great! I left a 96 v6 Mustang in the dust from a red light. My wife was with me (who is crazy about Mustangs) and she wasn't to happy about it. lol. Also, the guy in the Mustang had his girl with him. bet he felt like crap. I am loving this cold air intake. it gave me a gas mileage boost to. I just have to keep from burying the gas in the floor.

Good work. Thanks for the update.
Your Sequential Central Point Injection (SCPI) is a pretty responsive fuel injection system and evidently responds well to your new intake system. Take good care of your transmission to hold the extra power.
Which cold air system did your install?

I just had the transmission rebuilt about 8k miles back. I had them put the updated sunshell gear in it to. an extra $50, but it's worth it. Here is a link for the cold air intake that I bought off of Summit Racing.com. Good price to. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SPE-9901/. I had to look it up for the 01 blazer since the 01 Bravada doesn't come up with hardly any performance parts at all.
