stop arguing this is getting childish
It probably could have been the mechanic who put your headlights but one never knows
this is just my opinion

There should be a large rubber screw at each corner of your hood where the hood meets the fender, just behind the headlights. These adjust up and down to control the exact line your talking about. If screwing these up and/or down doesn't correct the problem, then either one of two things has happened. Either your hood has been slightly bent or the headlight is out of adjustment. You can correct your hood by grabbing the corners, one with each hand, and push one corner up, while pulling the other one down. Just don't use too much pressure because it doesn't take much at all. Keep doing this until you've pushed it back into place. If its your headlight that is out of whack the only thing to do is loosen the bolts that hold it in and see if you can adjust it. Just make sure that before touching the headlight that it is out of alignment with more than just the hood, i.e. the bumper, grille, etc... If you have never wrecked the car then there isn't much of a reason that the headlight shouldn't be straight and its more likely the hood. But if you find it to be the headlight and loosening the bolts that hold it in won't allow you to straighten it, then the only way to get it perfect is to remove it and make the bolt holes larger so that you can move it in the desired direction.
